GradCert MusStud (vocal pedagogy)
Taylor Fitzgibbon has loved singing for as long as she can remember. She began receiving professional training at The Voice Singing School at the age of 9 and discovered her passion for teaching while completing Year 12 at 17 years old. Since then, Taylor has taught students of all ages and genres, finding immense joy in sharing her love for music.
Taylor has received extensive training in various genres, including musical theatre, country, pop, and rock, but soul music holds a special place in her heart. Her education credits include a Graduate Certificate in Music Studies (Vocal Pedagogy) from Griffith Conservatorium, which focuses on the science of singing teaching. To ensure she stays updated on the latest in vocal science, Taylor regularly attends ANATS (Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing) workshops.
As a performer, Taylor is currently working as a live musician around Townsville, performing at events like the Townsville Cup, weddings, and various venues with live music. Her performance credits also include participating in Carols by Candlelight (2019, 2021, 2022) and roles in Townsville Choral Society's productions of "The Little Mermaid" (as a Mersister) and "9-5."
