Hi Maddi, such a great showcase of young singers and talent. I can’t tell you how much seeing my daughter be part of a group - singing, talking, socialising meant so much to me so I can only imagine how much it meant to her. We appreciate that together you both set goals and consistently worked towards them and in the process increased her confidence and willingness to share her voice

It has been such an incredible journey as a mother to watch my daughters become more confident and skilled by attending weekly lessons, showcases, and concerts. They have a strong village surrounding them with incredible teachers. Singing has become a part of our morning routine and it brings us so much joy. We will continue lessons for years to come

My daughter started at the Voice Singing School as a member of a girl band at the age of 10. Eight years later she has continued as a soloist and played guitar. As a student she has had the pleasure of being trained by a current recording artist and other talented musicians and has been offered fantastic performance opportunities at events around Townsville and now has the confidence to go busking. So glad she has been able to be a part of this amazing school

Our daughter really loves her lessons at The Voice as she is always met with such great energy and enthusiasm from her teacher Miss Jaye. You can tell Jaye genuinely loves teaching the kids and it shows as my daughter has done really great with her singing performances so far, already on a stage using a microphone after only a few months

I have been at the school for almost 6 years now, and my voice has improved drastically. I've been singing since I was a little girl & I am now 16 and it helps me embrace my dreams. Finally, people know who I am and I am getting professional gigs & being noticed, ,y dreams are coming true all thanks to this school!

Joining The Voice Singing School is one of the best things I have ever done in my life. I have been a pupil of The Voice Singing School for nearly 12 months now and my only regret is that I haven't been a student for 12 years. The school offers much more then the traditional teacher student dynamics, it is for me a true family environment where everybody wants only the very best for everybody else. Truly professional and extremely talented teachers that become great friends are always a pleasure to work with, and lessons become more of an artistic exchange and a great deal of fun. The very simple attitude of the school in my opinion is "where do you want to go or be with your singing, ok now we will do our very best to get you there and give you all the training, support, encouragement and opportunities we can". You can take your singing as serious or as casual as you want whether trying to break into the professional market or just as a hobby and a bit of fun they cater to your needs at your pace. Every student is treated as an individual. From personal experience I have gone from being embarrassed to sing a few notes in my first lesson to now having been involved in singing at a number of the schools showcases performing on stage to a crowd. My confidence in my voice and in performing is all due to the schools dedication to their students. More importantly then all of this is the amount of fun I have every time I attend a lesson or am involved with anything to do with the school. Thanks to everyone at the school I now have opportunities and confidence to perform outside the school with Townsville country music on a regular basis, and who knows where else. Only time will tell. There are so many things I love about The Voice Singing School. The teachers are all talented and know how to work with my voice and challenge me. The performances are in a relaxed environment and everyone is very welcoming. Being part of The Voice Singing School is like being a part of a family. Everyone is so supportive. Attending lessons at The Voice Singing School has increased my confidence both on stage and off stage. Between normal lessons and the holiday programs I have really grown as not only a singer but also a performer and made lots of friends along the way. The friendships that I have had with my teachers over the years have helped shape me to be the person I am today.

The Voice Singing School is awesome because everybody is so supportive of the students and it’s a lovely environment to be in. They also do concerts which build up our confidence and give us a chance to show what we have been working on in our lessons. It’s really nice to see everybody get up and have a go. I love lessons because we learn how to be great singers while having fun. Our teachers support us throughout our lessons. We also can pick our own songs and it’s fun to be able to work on things we enjoy listening to on the radio.

I love singing with my group. Learning with them makes me feel good.

Before joining The Voice Singing School, I didn’t have the courage to sing in front of anyone. The Voice Singing School is just like a family and has many great people involved. My teacher Lyllie is such a great teacher and has helped me build up my confidence.

I love coming to The Voice Singing School, because all the teachers are very nice and friendly and I have made a lot of friends. Before I started singing I was not a good singer at all, but I have improved in such a short time.

I have met 3 beautiful friends and we have fun playing games. My singing teacher is very nice and I get to sing my favourite songs.

I have been singing with The Voice Singing School for three years now and totally loving it. My name is Keith, I'm 18 years of age. I love athletics and anything physical, but as much as I like to do all that, I have a passion to make noise .. I love to sing. I have been staying behind the door afraid to open it up and see what lurks behind for almost 10 years. I attempted my singing when I was younger but developed stage fright. I just had my first singing lesson with Tracey and wow did she make me confident. I am confident that I have just stepped on the yellow brick road on my way to a big future in singing (I hope haha) I cant wait till my next lesson. Thanks Tracey

I love The Voice Singing School, because it has helped me grow into a more confident person, and has strengthened my voice in its weak areas. Since I met Tracey she has taught me to stand tall and be confident and to not be afraid of anyone or anything. Being able to perform at acoustic nights and End of Year Concerts has helped me in the last 3-4 years to step out on my own and gig at other venues as a professional musician. Everyone who is involved within The Voice Singing School are all supportive of each other, and feel like family.

I started with singing lessons nearly ten years ago and haven’t looked back. The Voice Singing School is number one for modern vocal technique. I’ve been a full time musician for seven years now, and am now in Sydney singing and playing every day of the week. When I get back home to Townsville, the first thing I do is call Trace for a catch-up lesson. Missing The Voice immensely.

Being a student of The Voice Singing School has been one of the greatest moves I have ever made, both professionally and personally. The education I have received not only on my voice, my technique, stage presence and habits has taken me from being a good singer to a great singer. Since returning from placing 7th in Australian Idol 09, The Voice has grown my abilities and taken my voice into places I could only have dreamed of. The Voice has taught me to live not as if I "like to sing", but live as a singer. I now love and respect my voice, and enjoy the ease I have been able to learn to sing with.
